LIVERIMAGE is a free, educational web-based image library that is designed as a service to medical professionals dealing with liver and pancreatic disease. It aims to provide doctors and trainees a library of images that raises awareness and suggests solutions for specific clinical problems that we the editors have faced and learnt from. In short it illustrates the science of hepato-biliary disease & transplantation through pictures. The continuously updated library will comprise of cases and reports presented either as a single picture e.g. an angiogram or CT Scan that conveys the point, or as a small pictorial report in 2-3 images with text that presents a story, designed to highlight a clinically relevant opinion or idea. More space has been allocated to classic or common clinical situations that you are likely to come across in clinical practice, but nevertheless a significant proportion is devoted to interesting and rare cases.
